The HDI Ron Muns Life Time Achievement Award was created in honor of HDI Founder, Ron Muns, who retired in 2008 after a lifetime of dedication and service to the IT support industry. Recipients of this award reflect the principles that Mr. Muns followed throughout his stewardship at HDI and demonstrate a dedication to the improvement of the support industry including a willingness to share their expertise with others through publications, training, presentations, and a never ending dedication to advancing the professionalism of the entire industry.

Malcolm Fry is a recognized IT industry luminary with over 40 years experience in Information Technology. Mr. Fry has an unparalleled breadth of knowledge and experience in IT business and technical issues. He has authored many publications, articles and papers on IT service and support including A step-by-step Guide to Building a CMDB and Building an ITIL-based Service Management Department. He is currently working on a new publication for TSO/OGC to be announced soon.
