Join an HDI Forum, an elite peer group of senior-level technical support professionals. HDI Forums are strategic groups of leaders who meet face-to-face several times per year to

How to Join a Forum

Signing up for Forum membership must be done by contacting the HDI Account Manager assigned to the area where your company is located. Our account managers will help place you into the Forum that will bring you the most value.


Available Forums

If you don't see the right Forum for you, request a new one! We'll launch it once there's enough interest. To maintain an interactive, personal environment, each Forum is limited to about 35 members.

Desktop Support Forum

The HDI Desktop Support Forum is a valuable opportunity for desktop support leaders to learn, network, share ideas and experiences, and discuss the latest developments in desktop support best practices. Forum members benefit from fresh perspectives on challenges faced by desktop support leaders and learn how to improve the people, processes, and technology strategies within desktop support. Participants include senior-level desktop support managers, directors, and executives. 

Executive Forum

The HDI Executive Forum provides an opportunity for senior-level IT support directors and executives to engage in strategic communication about support center issues, discuss benchmarking ideas, and develop and refine support center best practices. Participants include senior-level IT service and support directors and executives from large organizations with more than 50 IT support staff members. 

Financial Services Forum (new)

The HDI Financial Services Forum provides an opportunity for senior-level leaders from financial institutions and various finance industry organizations to improve their business operations through knowledge sharing in an open, non-competitive environment. Members of this Forum engage in a strategic communication about similar support center issues, discuss benchmark ideas, and develop best practices and processes for their support centers. Participants include senior-level IT service and support managers, directors, and executives within the finance industry who are united by common challenges and objectives.  

Government Forum 

The HDI Government Forum meets to discuss important topics relevant to government agency support center issues. The Forum provides a valuable opportunity for mature support professionals to learn from each other, network, share ideas and experiences, and discuss the latest developments in help desk best practices specific to the government sector. Participants include senior-level IT service and support managers, directors, and executives from city, county, state and federal government agencies.

Healthcare Providers Forum

The HDI Healthcare Providers Forum holds three-day events focused on the operational, strategic, tactical, and professional development needs that are necessary to optimally run a complex support organization. Focusing on healthcare-specific support centers, the HDI Healthcare Providers Forum helps establish and maintain best practices for the unique challenges faced by healthcare systems. Participants include senior-level IT service and support managers, directors, and executives from the healthcare industry.

Higher Education Forum

The HDI Higher Education Forum provides an opportunity for IT support managers, directors, and executives from higher education to engage in a strategic level of communication about similar support center issues, discuss benchmark ideas, and develop support center best practices specifically for higher education. Participants include senior-level IT service and support managers, directors, and executives from colleges and universities.

Retail Forum

The HDI Retail Forum provides an opportunity for IT support managers, directors, and executives from retail chains, restaurants, and hospitality, to engage in a strategic level of communication about similar support center issues, discuss benchmark ideas, and the development of support center best practices. Participants include senior-level IT service and support managers, directors, and executives.

The HDI Support Center Leadership Forum serves as a valuable opportunity for support leaders to learn, network, share ideas and experiences, and discuss the latest developments in support center best practices. Forum members gain fresh perspectives on world-class support and ideas about how to improve the people, process, and technology strategies within their support center.
