Q. What meals are included in my registration fee?
A. The following meals are included in your registration fee:
Breakfast (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)

Welcome Reception (Monday)
Happy Hour Networking Reception (Tuesday)
Q. What are HDI's payment policies?
A. HDI accepts Visa, MasterCard or American Express for conference payment. Billing is also available and invoices are payable upon receipt. Pre-payment (or a federal government purchase order) is required prior to conference attendance.
Q. How can I tell you about my special physical or dietary requirements?
A. Vegetarian meals/items will be available at all conference food functions. If you have additional physical or dietary requirements that need to be addressed, please call 719.268.0307 prior to November 1st and we'll be happy to accommodate your request.
Q. Can I send someone in my place, if I can no longer attend?
A. Yes, you may substitute at any time before receiving your materials on-site. If possible, knowing your replacement's name, title and address prior to attending the conference helps facilitate a smooth registration transition.
Q. I am an HDI member, are there any membership discounts?
A. Yes, all HDI Silver members and above receive a $100.00 discount off the conference registration fee, as well as a $100.00 off the pre-conference workshops.
Q. I've attended an HDI conference in the past, are there any alumni discounts?
A. Yes, alumnis receive a $100.00 discount off the conference registration fee.
Q. Is there an early bird discount?
A. Yes, register by September 25th and your'll receive $200.00 off the conference registration fee.
Q. Are there any additional special offers if I register early?
A. Early Bird Registration discounts have now expired. However, a new web registration special is in place. Use promo code WS2009 and receive $200 off your conference registration. Other discounts may be applicable. Restrictions apply.

Q. Can I apply the early bird discount to a pre-conference workshop?
A. Discounts may only be applied to the Conference Registration Package.
Q. Can I bring a guest to a workshop, keynote or function?
A. Only registered conference participants will be allowed to attend conference sessions or keynote presentations. You may purchase a Happy Hour Networking Cocktail Reception ticket for $50.00 for a guest at the on-site registration desk.
Q. Can I purchase a one-day pass to the conference?
A. One-day passes are not available for this conference. You must purchase the entire conference package in order to attend the event.
Q. When and where will on-site registration be located?
A. Please check-in and pick up your conference materials at our on-site registration desk, located on the Ballroom Level of Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel. Registration will be available during the following hours:

Q. What materials will I receive as part of my conference registration?
A. Conference attendees will receive: Conference Proceedings and Online Web access to handouts for each workshop session; a Conference Badge (entrance into all conference keynotes, sessions, expo and receptions); a Conference Bag; and Conference/Reception meal/drink tickets.

Q. Are there any special conference rates set aside at the hotel? How do I make my hotel reservations?
A. A discounted conference rate is available to event participants: $199.00 single/double occupancy. Please call 800.233.1234 or 703.418.1234 and reference the HDI Service Management Conference rate. Hotel sleeping will be held at the special conference rate until October 15, 2009, and will be based upon availability after this date.
Q. What should I wear to attend the conference?
A. All attendees are encouraged to dress business casual. Hotel meeting rooms are generally kept slightly cool, so a sweater or jacket might be useful during the sessions.
