Phishing (using email or other communication made to look like it is from a trusted source). spear phishing (targeted phishing) and other methods of getting around and behind filters and firewalls have become more common. The payloads delivered by such attacks have been able to paralyze schools, companies, and cities via ransomware and other malicious exploits.
The support center not only has to handle an increasing number of incidents related to cybersecurity, but can become the hub of communication for both prevention and response.
