In honor of Ron Muns, HDI's founder and the father of the service and support industry, the Ron Muns Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals for their contributions, leadership, enthusiasm, and tireless efforts to advance our industry.
This award, which honors a leader who has made lasting contributions to the IT service and technical support industry, will be presented at the HDI 2012 Conference & Expo, April 24–27, 2012, in Orlando, FL.
Award Criteria
- Candidate has been active in the service and support industry for at least ten years.
- Candidate is a current member of HDI and has been a member for at least five years.
- Candidate has made noteworthy contributions to the industry including (but not limited to) research, publications, education and training, mentorship, speaking at industry events, and sitting on boards of industry organizations.
- Candidate has demonstrated dedication to his or her own professional growth and the growth and success of the industry as a whole.
Award Guidelines
- HDI will establish a panel of judges to select the award recipient.
- The award will be presented at the HDI 2012 Conference & Expo in Orlando, FL.
