HDI Certified Instructor Program

The HDI® Certified Instructor Program is designed for companies that train more than 50 IT service and support professionals annually. The HDI Certified Instructor Program allows a company’s internal trainer/instructor to deliver HDI certification training directly to employees.

How to Become an HDI-Certified Instructor

Previous instructional experience is recommended. For Certified Instructor program pricing details, please contact HDI at 800.248.5667 and ask to speak to your regional account manager.
  1. Complete an instructor-led training course for the course(s) that will be delivered. These courses are offered publicly each month at various locations across North America.
  2. Pass the certification exam at a mastery level for the course(s) that will be delivered. The mastery level for each course is 90%.
  3. Attend a Certified Instructor course. These courses are held quarterly at the HDI headquarters in Colorado Springs.
  4. Become an HDI member (gold level or above).
