Joy Goberville, HDI Motown Local Chapter Officer

Joy, as V.P. of Membership, has HDI Motown at record levels of Membership. Over the 5 years she has served the Chapter in that role, she has personally taken initiative to contact companies in our area with the invitation to come and see what HDI Motown is all about.

Joy elevates the professionalism of our Local Chapter Board by preparing 2 sets of door prizes (member, future member) for each meeting. She wraps them in cellophane.......3 HDI coffee cups containing gift cards to local shops. Then, she has 3 more prizes, coffee cups and candy, which accompany our "3 month free trial membership" for HDI. It's an elegant way to encourage new members. Plus it also creates a bridge to her follow-up calls to Chapter visitors.

The Local Chapter Officer of the Year Award honors a hard-working volunteer leader from the local chapter community. Please consider nominating someone you know for this award. Nominations may be made by officers, HDI National Officers, Board of Directors, HDI members, peers, or customers. You can even nominate yourself!
