HDI Announces New Manager of the Year Award
Colorado Springs, CO – April 28, 2009 –
HDI, the world's largest membership association for help desk and technical support professionals and the premier certification body for the industry, today announced its newest award for the IT service and support industry: the HDI Manager of the Year Award.
The HDI Manager of the Year award, sponsored by

, will acknowledge and honor an IT service and support manager who has been in his or her current management role for the past 12 months supervising IT support services within his or her organization. Through this award program, HDI seeks to recognize professionals who are responsible for the strategic and tactical components of their support organization and who demonstrate the ability to advance technical support services within their business.
HDI is currently accepting nominations for the 2010 award. The deadline for nominations is October 31, 2009. Award nominees will be judged upon three criteria; a letter of introduction, leadership values, and leadership processes and procedures.
