What is the Rising Stars Program?
The HDI Rising Stars program celebrates the next generation of service and support leaders. These are the individuals who, despite being in the early stages of their careers, are already shaping the future of the industry. Whether they’re rethinking internal processes, improving customer experiences, or fostering strong team cultures, our Rising Stars are people to watch.
Why It Matters
We created this program with three big goals in mind:
1. Recognize and amplify new industry voices
2. Provide growth and visibility opportunities for early-career professionals
3. Strengthen the HDI community by building a pipeline of future thought leaders
We believe that when we invest in and elevate emerging talent, the entire industry benefits.
Who Should I Nominate?
We’re looking for standout individuals who:
- Are in the first 1–9 years of their IT service/support careers
- Demonstrate exceptional promise, leadership, and impact
- Embody the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Whether they’re in frontline support roles, analysts, process owners, team leads, or junior managers, we want to hear their stories.

- Finalists (2026 Momentum Makers) Announced: August 31
- Finalists Featured: Throughout September and October on LinkedIn and in our newsletter
- Public Voting for the 2026 Winner: November 1–20
- Winner Announced and Momentum Makers Recognized: December 9 at HDI's Service & Support Digital Experience
A panel of judges will select finalists, who will then be featured in a community voting round to help determine the 2026 Rising Star.
The Honors
The individuals selected as HDI’s Rising Stars 2026 Momentum Makers will:
- Be featured in HDI’s digital media channels, including LinkedIn and our newsletter
- Receive a complimentary pass to HDI's Service & Support World 2027, April25-29 in Las Vegas
- Join a growing network of Rising Stars and mentors within the HDI community
